Thoughts

First off I am not a vegan or vegetarian. However, I respect vegans and vegetarians. There is a lot to argue about on both sides of the argument of eating meat. I am starting to realize that by buying meat that you know is not free range is supporting slaughter houses. There are countless pieces of evidence that shows that the workers in slaughter houses can be some of the cruelest animals on the planet. But that is just it. Humans are animals. We have just evolved into something that is so set on staying alive and dominating the world that we forget what we used to be. Which is animals that did not have the brain to tell them how to dominate, kill, and torture. Which let’s face it that is what a lot of humans do. Hunting, fishing, eating meat is killing other things for our pleasure. And no I don’t think everyone will go vegetarian or vegan. But I do think that people need to understand that by not supporting a change at least IS supporting torture. I am on the fence with the issue because I was raised eating meat which most people are and it is hard to change your beliefs ESPECIALLY when everyone else in your life eats, cooks, and buys meat. In the early years humans too were killing because they had a basic need to survive by consuming food. Now we do it for skim or horns or for a reason that is not for base needs like other animals. No one has to agree with me. Anyone can disagree in fact. I would love to hear a vegan or vegetarians argument or things they have learned that made their decision and that goes for meat eaters too! I am interested in this topic and want to know more but the sites I find say different versions of the same thing. If you would like to discuss this message me and I would be happy to get back to you. :3 xo
